Looking back to see forward: Podstock 2011

Paint me officially astounded.

 

For the past 2 years, I knew Podstock was something else, something beyond a conference. Beyond simply a gathering of teachers learning. It has been an “experience.” I mean, after all, the name is Podstock, taking after the idea of Woodstock in 1969, where it was all about coming together for a good time, centered around music that quietly turned into the very symbol of a peaceful cultural revolution.

 

And so this was the thought…

Ha!  Five years ago I was still in college, and I didn't pick up a camera until I started working at ESSDACK.  I'm a pretty big gear head when it comes to video equipment, but I'm also really big into DIY.  I could show you how to use a Flipcam and a few chicken lights to make a surprisingly good quality video.
